You guys prolly know about this fella. I have always enjoyed reading about Wetzel, The Indians called him "Death wind" or "He whose gun is always loaded" because he could out run most men, AND he could load his gun while doing it. Kinda made chaseing him a losing proposition .

Lewis & Clark, believe it was LEWIS chased by a Grizz. reloaded, wheeled and fired.......Deninately a different breed of men. I might be hard pressed to dump and rack in another mag in my .300 while doing my ''rendition'' of running.

Like trying to have someone who has never been in a gun fight ,understand the copper taste in your mouth and the weak knees after things have settled .( or been HUNTED in heavy cover by a wounded bear........ Living everyday ''on the edge'' must have been hard on the mind AND nerves......
General JAY GIBSON was my friend and always will be.
Straight as an arrow to VALHALLA. Brother.
Keep an eye on IVY until I get home. ztou
